My experience:
I am a BCA student learning web development. I wanted to earn through small freelance projects such as websites and contacted local businesses and searched on different freelance platforms.
The problem:
Finding people who actually need a website is much harder than learning how to build one. Many businesses don't respond, some aren't interested, and freelance platforms can be difficult for beginners because there is a lot of competition and it is hard to get the first client.
Why it matters:
Students can spend months learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other technologies, but there isn't an easy way to connect beginners with genuine small businesses that need affordable technical help.
What I think is missing:
A platform specifically connecting verified small businesses with skilled students or beginners for small, clearly defined projects. Businesses could find affordable help, while students could get their first real-world projects and build experience.
